I’m delighted to be joining the Theatre Arts Department at UC Santa Cruz as a tenure-track assistant professor of dance starting fall 2016.  I look forward to being near the Pacific in striking distance of my biological and artistic families, to making connections with Bay Area API community, to working at a minority-majority campus whose mission includes social justice, to helping create praxis-based dialogues between dance and theater, and to working in a position that asks me to work at the cutting edge of “world” and “contemporary” dance.
